Haunted Field

With the Halloween season upon us I decided to try something new this year. Some of you might be surprised to learn this but I have never been to a haunted house or a similar horror themed event, either by myself, or with a group of friends or family. But this year I decided to give one of these events a try.

I wound up visiting a haunted cornfield being held in Price Utah which is apparently one of the most highly regarded in the state., at least according to the online reviews I found.

As you might have guessed by the fact that I called it a cornfield, it wasn't set in a building, but a large fair ground where they'd set up a sort of walk through maze that you traveled through while seeing all kinds of horror themed stuff.

This particular event was very much on the mature side so I didn't take any pictures to be posted on this blog encase any little ones sees it. However, I will say that I got to see several RVs that were homes to families of cannibals, a church like building that looked like it came straight out of the Children of the Corn movies, a mad scientist with his experiments, and even a tunnel field with fog so that you couldn't see anything except the occasional lamp hanging from the ceiling that you had to feel your way out of.

Finally, while I didn't take any pictures of the event itself, the waiting area that I stayed in before being allowed to go through the maze had some stuff that I thought would be fun to share with you all here.
